The arrangement consists of at least one drive element (1), e.g. a combustion engine, a drive shaft (2), e.g. a crank shaft, an output element, e.g. a gearing, an output shaft (18), e.g. a gearing input shaft, as well as an electric machine. The electric machine consists of a stator connected firmly with the casing of the drive- or output element, and a rotor which can be disengaged by means of at least one clutch (5) provided between drive shaft and output shaft. The electric machine is formed as a modular assembly unit. A gap between stator and rotor is preferably adjusted before assembly.
