摘要 The present invention relates to a method for reducing a positioning error of a global positioning system (GPS). According to the present invention, to reduce an ionospheric error which is the highest cause among the causes of the positioning error of the GPS, provided is a method for writing a GPS ionospheric total electron content map to reduce a GPS positioning error, which is capable of more precisely calculating spatially an existing GPS ionospheric total electron content map to reduce a positioning information error. Furthermore, provided are a method for reducing a GPS positioning error and a GPS device, capable of reducing the positioning information error compared to the existing method, and providing more accurate positioning information using the method for writing the GPS ionospheric total electron content map to reduce the GPS positioning error, which is provided to reduce the positioning information error by more precisely calculating spatially the existing GPS ionospheric total electron content map.
