摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem of necessity of a large-capacity capacitor for dying gasp transmission in the case of power interruption.SOLUTION: An optical network unit comprises: a subscriber side communication optical reception section for receiving a downlink signal having a first wavelength or fourth wavelength; a subscriber side communication optical transmission section for transmitting an uplink signal having a second wavelength; a subscriber side control optical transmission section for transmitting an uplink signal having a third wavelength; a subscriber side control section for controlling communication; and a power interruption detection section for detecting power interruption of the optical network unit. The subscriber side control section transmits a power interruption signal through the subscriber side control optical transmission section, only when the power interruption detection section detects the power interruption of the optical network unit. An optical line terminator comprises: a station side communication optical transmission section for transmitting the downlink signal having the first wavelength or fourth wavelength; a station side communication optical reception section for receiving the uplink signal having the second wavelength; a station side control optical reception section for receiving the uplink signal having the third wavelength; and a station side control section for controlling communication. The station side control section receives the power interruption signal through the station side control optical reception section.
