PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing apparatus that improves the sealability. SOLUTION: A torque variation absorbing apparatus includes: a rotatably-arranged center plate 23; a bearing 28 that is arranged on the radial inside of the center plate; side plates 17, 18 that have parts arranged on the radial inside of the bearing 28 and rotatably support the center plate 23 via the bearing 28; elastic members 34, 35 that are accommodated in a space surrounded by the side plates 17, 18 and absorb torque variations occurring between the side plates 17, 18 and the center plate 23; and a cover member that covers a clearance between the center plate 23 and the side plates 17, 18 in order to separate the space from the outer space. Any one of the center plate 23, the bearing 28, and the side plates 17, 18 has a ventilation part 17e for ventilating between the closed space and the outside along the contour of the bearing 28.
