<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exposure of a dry torque limiter mechanism placed in the casing of a vehicular drive unit to hydraulic oil in the casing by using a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This unit includes a casing 52 housing components of the vehicular drive unit 100 including a first motor 60, a second motor 70, first rotating shafts 2a and 2c, and a second rotating shaft 2b, and a dry torque limiter mechanism TL which is disposed between one shaft and the other shaft of the first rotating shafts 2a and 2c in the casing 52 and limits a driving force transmitted between the first rotating shafts 2a and 2c. Components of the torque limiter mechanism TL are housed in a torque limiter housing chamber 111 that is isolated from an inner space of the casing 52 by partition members 112 and 113 disposed between the first motor 60 and the second motor 70. A communication passage 115 is formed which connects the interior of the torque limiter housing chamber 111 communicatively to the exterior of the casing 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
