<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an elevator by means of a switch, without being affected by the thickness of a hoistway wall, even when a lid attachment frame of a lid and a box body are distant from each other in terms of construction. <P>SOLUTION: This invention includes: a tubular box body 2; a detector attachment plate 3 which has one end where the fire detector 4 is installed, the other end bent at a right angle to form a stopper portion 3a, and both width-direction ends slidably fitted into guide rails 2b and 2b of the box body 2; and a lid 5 which comprises the lid attachment frame 6 having an opening and installed on the opening side, on the side where the detector attachment plate 3 is inserted, in the box body 2, and a lid body 7 for closing the opening of the lid attachment frame 6.
