PROBING METHOD FOR UNDERGROUND BURIED MATERIAL USING GPR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A probing method for an underground buried material using a Ground Penetration Radar(GPR) system is provided to probe accurately an underground buried material by using a GPR instead of Pipe locator. CONSTITUTION: A probing method for an underground buried material using a Ground Penetration Radar(GPR) system comprises the steps of: outputting a pulse generated from a controller(100) through a transmitting antenna(200) and a receiving antenna(300), passing through a medium, and receiving a signal reflected from a buried material; storing the reflected signal to transmit data to a PC, determining various variables necessary for probing, generating and amplifying a transmitting and receiving pulse suitable for the determined variables in order to output it through the transmitting antenna, and determining a sampling gap and number; and providing the pulse data obtained from the controller to an image and showing a cross-sectional view of a high resolution for the processed data.
