<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive displacement pump capable of efficiently driving a movable component to change the volume of a pump chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The positive-displacement pump 1 includes a linearly-actuating moving component 33, a fixed body 34, and a moving body 12 mounted on the moving component 33 to change the volume of a pump chamber 8. The moving component 33 has a magnet 331, and the fixed component 34 includes a yoke 37 and a drive coil 38. The yoke 37 includes a shaft part 371 extending in the moving direction of the moving component 33, and a first projecting part 372 and a second projecting part 373 projecting to the side of the magnet 331 from both ends of the shaft part 371. The drive coil 38 is wound in the direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the moving component 33 around a part between the first projecting part 372 and the second projecting part 373 of the yoke 37, and is opposed to magnetic pole faces 331a, 331b of the magnet 331.
