<p>A multilayer polyester container having a multilayer structure comprising inner and outer layers of a polyester resin and at least one intermediate layer of a barrier resin, wherein the intermediate layer comprises a barrier resin, a polyester resin and a clay, the barrier resin and the polyester resin being contained at a weight ratio of 2.5:7.5 to 5:5, and the intermediate layer, further, constitutes an sea-island dispersion structure in which a dispersion phase of the barrier resin is formed in a continuous phase of the polyester resin, enabling the thickness and the weight to be decreased. Even when filled with a carbonated beverage which spontaneously produces pressure, the multilayer polyester container effectively prevents interlayer peeling and deformation of when the cap is opened.</p> |
