<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotating electric machine enabling formation of a bridge part which can secure necessary strength and can prevent generation of leakage flux, and a method of manufacturing a rotor core used for the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 1 for a rotating electric machine includes a rotor core 2 and magnets 4 each embedded in a magnet arrangement opening hole 22 provided in the rotor core 2. An outer peripheral side air gap part 23 is adjacently formed on a side face 42 on an outer peripheral side of the magnet 4 by a portion of the magnet arrangement opening hole 22. An outer peripheral side bridge part 24 is formed between the outer peripheral side air gap part 23 and an outer peripheral face 20 of the rotor core 2 by a portion of the rotor core 2. A solidification layer 31 formed by melting and then solidifying a portion of the rotor core 2 is formed on a core side face 221 coming into contact with the outer peripheral side bridge part 24 in the outer peripheral side air gap part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
