PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for heat-sensitive stencil printing having an excellent punchability at a low energy and high sensitivity and a heat-sensitive stencil printing master. SOLUTION: The film for heat-sensitive stencil printing is a biaxially oriented film made of a polyester, and satisfies the following formulae in a TMA shrinkage percentage measurement of the oriented film (temperature raising speed of 10 deg.C/min, and a constant load of 0.5 g). X(max)>=25%, 40 deg.C<=T(start)<=80 deg.C, and T(max)-T(start)<=50 deg.C, wherein X(max) is maximum shrinkage percentage [%], T(start) is a shrinkage starting temperature, T(max) is a highest shrinkage temperature [ deg.C]. The heat-sensitive stencil printing master is formed by connecting the film for printing the stencil to a porous support.
