<p>According to the present invention, an apparatus for manufacturing a steel wire includes a drawing means having material drawn while being passed; and a rotary means deforming a front end of the material while rotating the material at a front end or a rear end of the drawing means. In a process where material is passed through a passing hole of a rotary die, the material is torsionally rotated by a set number of revolutions, and front end deformation occurs proportionately to the number of revolutions. Accordingly, front end deformation by torsion is given to the material to prevent delamination and remarkably increase ductility as torsion resistance is increased, thereby improving a torsional characteristic. Particularly, when the present invention is applied, a high torsional characteristic with increased ductility under the same reduction rate of the material may be obtained compared with the prior art.</p> |
