<p>Provided are a heat pipe roll and a method for manufacturing the same capable of efficiently straightening a high strength steel. The heat pipe roll comprises neck parts connected with a bearing on both ends of the heat pipe; a rolling part which rolls a plate material passing between the neck parts and has multiple insertion holes formed in a radial direction at a predetermined depth; and a heat pipe which is inserted into the insertion holes in the rolling part and extends in an axial direction of a roll. The method for manufacturing the heat pipe roll includes a jig mounting step for mounting a jig on a journal part to form the insertion holes; an insertion hole forming step for forming the insertion holes in the rolling part through guide holes formed on the jig; a jig removing step for removing the jig after forming the insertion holes; and a heat pipe inserting step for inserting the heat pipe into the insertion holes.</p> |
