PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus based on multiple texture image and a method thereof are provided to express various image properties through time-space position transformation variable of texture images. CONSTITUTION: An image processing apparatus detects a plurality of feature points from a selected seed image(S12). The apparatus produces variables for time-space position transformation about each feature points by the trace of the multiple feature points(S13). The apparatus defines a plurality of texture images(S14). The apparatus performs the approximation of the texture image(S15). The apparatus compresses the texture image and the time-space position transformation variable(S16).
