STYRENIC RESIN FOAM SHEET AND MOLDED CONTAINER MADE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foam sheet excellent in moldability and reduced in fragility and a molded container thereof. SOLUTION: A styrenic resin foam sheet is constituted by laminating a styrenic resin sheet with a thickness of 25-250μm on a foam sheet with an expansion ratio of 5-13 and a thickness of 1.5-2.5 mm obtained by foaming and sheeting a styrenic resin with a mol.wt. Mw of 25-350,000, a mol.wt. distribution Mw/Mn of 2.2-2.3 and a styrene dimer/trimer content of 1,500 ppm or less by using lower hydrocarbon as a foaming agent. In this case, the layer up to at least 50μm from the surface layer of the foam sheet having the film laminated thereto comprises fine cells.
