A method for determining the power of a test specimen, in particular of an internal combustion engine, includes a measuring device for registering the time profile of the rotational speed of an output shaft of the test specimen. To determine the power at a specific time, the time profile of the rotational speed is exclusively measured. The test specimen is tested, here, within a time period during which there is no necessity for forced cooling. In addition, the invention relates to a measuring device and to a power test bench for carrying out the method according to the invention. |
