<p>The present invention provides a video camera adapter for shooting a three dimensional (3D) video, which is capable of being coupled with a video camera to photograph a two dimensional (2D) video to acquire the 3D video and a method for controlling a convergence angle of a video camera adapter for shooting the 3D video. The video camera adaptor according to the present invention includes an electronic shutter having first and second windows adjacent to each other and having light transparency to alternately open/close the first and second windows; first and second prims allowing lights adjacent to each other and incident through the electronic shutter to travel in the same optical axis; a lens module to allow the light incident from the first and second prisms to be incident to the video camera to photograph the 2D image; a yaw motion-driving unit including a first motor to allow at least one of the first and second prims to make a yaw motion; a pitch motion-driving unit including a second motion to allow at least one of the first and second prims to make a pitch motion; a driving control unit to control the driving of the pitch motion-driving unit and a yaw-motion driving unit; and an input unit coupled to the driving control unit to operate the driving control unit by the operation of the user.</p> |
