摘要 A polyamide comprising (a) a unit comprising adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine and (b) a unit comprising isophthalic acid and hexamethylenediamine, wherein a ratio of the isophthalic acid component to the total carboxylic acid component in the polyamide is 0.05≦(x)≦0.5 and a range of blocking ratio (Y) is −0.3≦(Y)≦0.8. Also provided are compositions comprising 30 to 95% by mass of the above polyamide and 5 to 70% by mass of an inorganic filler.

A polyamide comprising: (a) a unit comprising adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine; and (b) a unit comprising isophthalic acid and hexamethylenediamine, wherein a molar ratio (x) of an isophthalic acid component to a total carboxylic acid component in the polyamide is 0.05≦(x)≦0.5 and a range of (Y) represented by the following formula (1) is −0.3≦(Y)≦0.8, wherein (Y)=[(EG)−(x)]/[1−(x)]  (1), and wherein (EG) represents a ratio of an isophthalic acid end group to a total carboxyl end group contained in the polyamide and is represented by the following formula (2) (EG)=an amount of the isophthalic acid end group/the total amount of the carboxyl end group   (2), and wherein the ratio (x) of the isophthalic acid component, the amount of isophthalic acid end group, and the total amount of carboxyl end group are values determined by a nuclear magnetic resonance method, and the amount of the isophthalic acid end groups and the total amount of carboxyl end groups are measured in units of meg/kg.
