The present invention relates to an apparatus for cooling fuel. In the present invention, a component, which provides a fuel cooling bypass and is directly connected with a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet separately from a fuel cooling module, and a component, which induces fuel to pass through a process that fuel is cooled by a fuel cooling module (in summer time) or to be indirectly output toward the fuel outlet through the fuel cooling bypass without cooling the fuel by a fuel cooling module by selectively changing a flow route of fuel passed through the fuel inlet toward the fuel cooling module or the fuel cooling bypass, are systematically added, arranged, and provided in the existing fuel cooling structure, such as a fuel inlet, a fuel outlet, a fuel cooling module, and the likes. Therefore, the apparatus for cooling fuel selectively performs a process of directly returning fuel from the fuel side to the fuel storing tank side without a series of cooling processes if the temperature around an engine or around a vehicle/equipment/machinery with an engine is low, for example in winter time, intense cold, or the likes, thereby allowing an engine operator to easily avoid a problem of serious deterioration of engine caused by excessively reduced temperature of fuel. |
