PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which can maintain strength of a package for it or moisture resistance and permeability, even by bending fusion bonding edge formed by sealing fusing resin layers together. SOLUTION: The sealed battery 10 has a package 14 for a sealed battery containing a power generating element 11 so that an open end 12A of a positive electrode terminal 12 and an open end 13A of a negative electrode terminal 13 are exposed outside, and fusion bonding edges 17A, 17C containing and sealing the power generating element 11 are bend along the thickness direction of the element 11. The fusion bonding edges 17A, 17C is bent with the position where the fusing resin layers for the package 14 for the sealed battery are separated from each other as the second base point 19.
