DRAIN MECHANISM IN OIL FILTER FOR VEHICLE

Disclosed is a drain device for an oil filter. The drain device for an oil filter includes: a drain hole; a drain plug which includes a head part and a rod part in one united body and closes the drain hole by rotating the rod part after moving forwards and being inserted into the drain hole; and a spring which provides elasticity in a direction where the rod part moves back. A stop rib is formed in the rod part, stoppers and a gap between the stoppers exist in the inner circumference surface of the drain hole, the gap allows a passage of the stop rib when the rod part moves forwards or backwards, and the stoppers regulate the recession of the rod part by being in contact with the stop rib when the rod part rotates in one direction after the rod part moves forwards.
