A terminal of an entrance control system turns on a near field communication (NFC) function, receives tag information from an NFC tag, which is installed on an entrance zone within an area formed by an entrance-dedicated router, at a reader mode of the NFC function, and transmits the tag information to a central control unit via the entrance-dedicated router. When an entrance permission is successfully performed by the central control unit, the terminal releases the NFC function.
