A DUST COLLECTOR AND CLEANER HAVING THE SAME

A dust collector comprises: a dust collecting case which has an opening formed on one side thereof and a fixing protrusion on a surface adjacent to the opening; a discharge cover which has a cover body opening and closing the opening, a lock member formed on one side of the cover body to be locked by the fixing protrusion and is rotationally hinged and coupled to the dust collecting case; an opening and closing member which is provided on one surface of the dust collecting case to unlock the lock member from the fixing protrusion; and a cover separating member which is provided between the dust collecting case and the discharge cover and separates the dust collecting case from the discharge cover. Therefore, the movement of the opening and closing member is not directly applied to the opening and closing of the discharge cover, thereby opening the discharge cover with the same force.
