<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating oxygen and hydrogen, which generates oxygen and hydrogen by electrolyzing water, the apparatus comprising an electrolytic cell for storing water; an electrode unit having at least one pair of first electrode plates and second electrode plates, which generate oxygen and hydrogen by electrolyzing water stored in the electrolytic cell and are alternately arranged at certain intervals, and a power supplying unit which supplies an opposite polarity power respectively to the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate wherein the first and the second electrode plate have a slope-induced surface, which is extended to incline from outside to center, and center holes, which are formed by penetrating the center. Accordingly, the configuration of the apparatus can inhibit polarization on the electrode plate thereby reducing power consumption used in electrolysis, and prevent freeze and burst by uniformly maintaining the temperature water stored in the electrolytic cell regardless of area.</p> |
