The present invention relates to a connecting adaptor for a food waste disposal device that is mounted to a lower portion of a basin of a sink, through which food waste moved down from the basin passes. The connecting adaptor includes a body having an inlet portion for receiving the food waste and an outlet port for discharging the food waste, the diameter of the outlet port being larger than that of the inlet port; a snap ring detachably mounted to the outer surface of the inlet port of the body; and an engaging member engaged to the basin to engage the body to the basin in a state in which the snap ring is provided in the inner region. Since a flow cross section of the outlet port is wider than the inlet port, the inner diameter of a discharge pipe connected to the outlet port is large, and thus there is no clogging in the discharge pipe. Even if the inlet portion is clogged, the portion is easily unclogged, thereby easily detaching and cleaning the adaptor. When a lot of water flows, only the water can bypass to achieve the stable discharging effect. It can be applied to various basins. |
