In the present invention, provided is a primer set for selecting a type of Korean ginseng K-1 consisting of base sequences of sequence 1 or 2. The primer set of the present invention can select the type of Korean ginseng K-1 and is accordingly used for distinguishing a new K-1 type among Korean ginseng. Therefore, the primer set of the present invention can make contributions to the development of ginseng industry because the primer set can secure reliability of ginseng type.
