SWITCH MOUNTING STRUCTURE ON HANDLE COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a switch connected with a wire in a simple structure allowing reduction of number of components in mounting the switch on a handle cover made of synthetic resin for covering a bar handle. SOLUTION: The inner surfaces on both sides of a mounting hole 22 are provided with respective grooves 26 allowing passing of collar parts 21 on both sides of a switch housing 20 to allow the switch 15 having an attitude altered by 90 deg. from an engaging state of the switch housing 20 with the mounting hole 22 to pass through the mounting hole 22 from the inner side to the outer side of a handle cover 14. The switch housing 20 is provided with a plurality of engaging claws 23 elastically engaging with the inner surface of the handle cover 14 at the peripheral edge of the mounting hole 22 by engagement of the handle cover 14 with the mounting hole 22 from the outside.
