<p>The present invention relates to a method for operating a control device (1). The control device (1) in the method comprises: a software-controlled main computer unit (2); a pure hardware-based model calculation unit (3) for calculating an algorithm based on configuration data, particularly, performing Bayesian regression; and a storage unit (5). A model storage region (51) is defined in the storage unit (5). A configuration register block (31) is allocated to the model storage region to provide the configuration data to the model calculation unit (3). A calculation start configuration register (33) is allocated to the uppermost address in the configuration register block (31) for recording the configuration data. The record of the calculation start configuration register enables calculation to be started in the model calculation unit (3). The configuration data is recorded from the model storage region (51) into the configuration register block (31) in one storage region of the storage unit (5) by an incremental backup process. Addresses are copied in ascending order in the incremental backup process.</p> |
