PHC PILE JOINT AND JOINTING METHOD USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an apparatus for joining a PHC pile which overcomes an impact when driving a pile, has higher strength than a main PHC pile body with respect to axial and transverse loads, joins a PHC pile in a remarkably easier way than an existing welding method, shortens a working time, is not affected by a skill of a worker, and easily controls verticality during work to secure excellent verticality. The apparatus for joining a PHC pile includes ring-shaped upper and lower joint plates having one surface respectively coupled to shoes of upper and lower PHC piles, and having a plurality of vertical plates vertically installed and having fastening holes formed radially disposed at on the other surface; a plurality of fastening bolts fastened by penetrating the fastening holes of the vertical plates when the vertical plates of the upper and lower joint plates are coupled to each other; and one or more wedge members inserted between the upper and lower joint plates when the vertical plates of the upper and lower joint plates are coupled to each other in order to adjust verticality.
