PURPOSE: An end plate for a fuel cell stack is provided to ensure light weight and low heat loss, to maintain uniform plane pressure, and to prevent leakage of fluid and the increase of intercell electric contact resistance. CONSTITUTION: An end plate for a sandwich type fuel cell stack comprises a side(10) made of fiber-reinforcing composite materials and maintains a plane after tightening by applying curvature to the side. The side is manufactured by the steps of: symmetrically laminating reinforced fiber within the composite; and molding the laminate by any one method selected from vacuum bag molding, pressure molding and resin transfer molding. |
