<p>Provided is a minimum mean-square error (MMSE) filtering device and method to which an information-theoretic limit in the quantity and quality of signal transmission is applied. The filtering method in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes filtering a receiving signal by using a filter coefficient minimizing MMSE of the filtered signal and an initial signal. Therefore, the present invention enables MMSE filtering to which the information-theoretic limit in the quantity and quality of signal transmission is applied, and the performances such as signal processing and restoration can be improved.</p> |
