FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid crystalline mixtures for colorimetric detection of temperature differential on surfaces of biological objects. Mixture of liquid crystalline compounds consists of from 48.61 wt % to 52.5 wt % of cholesterol pelargonate, from 46.47 wt % to 50.39 wt % of carbonate oleyl-cholesteryl, from 0.18 wt % to 0.28 wt % of cholesterol propionate, from 0.16 wt % to 0.20 wt % of cholesterol chloride and from 0.52 wt % to 0.66 wt % of 4,4'-dipentylasobenzol. Said mixture forms thermooptically active mesophase in the range of temperatures from 31.8°C to 34.8°C. Also described is system of three liquid crystalline mixtures, forming thermotropic mesophase and application of said mixture and said system for colorimetric detection of temperature differential on the surface of biological objects in narrow range of temperatures.EFFECT: claimed liquid crystalline mixtures ensure formation of thermooptically active mesophase with fixed narrow range of separation of thermooptic transition after each 0,5°C in the range of temperatures: from 31,8°C to 32,8°C, from 32,8°C to 33,8°C and from 33,8°C to 34,8°C, and can serve as effective colorimetric indicator of difference in temperature on the surface of biological objects.10 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
