FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention represents the method to determine damage of an underground pipeline and may be used in the oil and gas industry, community facilities and other areas of the industry that operate the pipelines. In process of method realisation they vary internal pressure in the pipeline in the range from zero to working one, measure and record induction of the permanent magnetic field. Induction is measured above the pipeline axis on the soil surface with a certain pitch, in each point of measurement they calculate difference of vertical components of magnetic field induction at different internal pressure, mean-square values of difference of vertical components are calculated in induction of the permanent magnetic field for sections of the pipeline, using the value of mean-square values they decide on the extent of damage of pipeline sections.EFFECT: increased accuracy.4 dwg, 1 ex |
