FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used namely for removal of gold at heap leaching of refractory gold-containing ores with cyanide solutions. The method consists in the fact that pyrite cinders are added to the ore prior to laying into a pile or during its formation. Eroded, aged cinders and cinders of current production are used as pyrite cinders.
