PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for coding moving picture data. SOLUTION: The image matching method processes n-sets of 1st-n-th consecutive image frames and includes a step where matching between the 1st and 2nd image frames, between the 2nd and 3rd image frames,..., between the (n-1)th and n-th image frames are calculated respectively and corresponding point files (M1, M2,..., Mn-1) between the frames above are created respectively, a step where the (n-1) sets of the files created in the adjacent matching step are sequentially integrated to finally create a corresponding point information file KM between the 1st and n-th image frames, and a step where the 1st and n-th image frames are used for key frames and the key frames are stored together with the corresponding point information file KM between the 1st and n-th image frames.
