PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyethylene terephthalate resin colored composition suitable as a beer container, a medicine container, etc., assuming a transparent or a translucent dark green color having performances for screening harmful light at 400-500 nm. SOLUTION: This polyethylene terephthalate resin colored composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a resin consisting essentially of polyethylene terephthalate with a trace amount of either one or both of Color Index Pigment Blue 15:1 and Color Index Pigment Blue 29 as a blue pigment and a trace amount of either one or both of Color Index Pigment Yellow 147 and Color Index Pigment Yellow 151 as a yellow pigment and further compounding >=0.01 to 0.4 pt.wt. of iron oxide pigment Fe2O3(xH2O) having an average particle diameter of 0.01-0.1μm major axis diameter.
