PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a reliable connection between an anode extraction wire of a capacitor element and an external terminal, in a chip type solid-state electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The chip type solid-state electrolytic capacitor 1 comprises the capacitor element 2 formed of an anode body embedded with a bar-like anode extraction wire 4, and packaging resin 3 covering the capacitor element 2. An anode terminal 5 and a cathode terminal 7 which are connected to the anode extraction wire 4 and a cathode layer of the capacitor element 2 respectively are so formed that part of each terminal may be exposed at least on the mounting surface of the chip type solid-state electrolytic capacitor. The anode terminal 6 and the anode extraction wire 4 are brazed by irradiating laser on a soldering material having a lower melting point than that of the anode extraction wire 4. The anode terminal 6 and the anode extraction wire 4 can be reliably welded at a desired position by brazing, resulting in increasing the reliability of the chip-type solid-state electrolytic capacitor.
