PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device as a single body which can perform data processing for a removable recording medium. SOLUTION: The keyboard device 1 is provided with multiple keys as already known and also provided with a card slot 11 for PC card insertion and a display part 12 including an indicator (lamp) informing a user of the operation state of a PC card in the slot 11. The PC card slot 11 is provided on the flank of the keyboard device 11, specially, at a rear lower part of the keyboard 1, so vibration to the disk in the PC card can be minimized. The PC card slot 11 is installed by using surplus space afforded by tilting the keyboard device, so the need of providing additional space is eliminated.
