<p>PURPOSE: An image display device and a method of controlling the same are provided to improve user convenience remarkably while watching a TV by providing channel change information to a user. CONSTITUTION: A memory unit(10) stores preset broadcasting channel information, and a broadcasting reception unit(20) receives a broadcasting signal form the outside. The broadcasting reception unit searches a channel, and a control unit(50) controls the channel searching of the broadcasting reception unit for every predetermined cycle. A control unit recognizes the change of broadcasting channel information.</p> |
