The invention relates to the use of at least one biotin molecule grafted with at least one molecule <u>M</u> for determining the presence and/or metering the amount in a solution of an element <u>E</u> selected among the following metals: mercury, lead, copper, cadmium, arsenic, cobalt, iron, aluminium, nickel, chromium, zinc and uranium, the molecule <u>M</u> being a molecule capable of binding said element <u>E</u>. The invention also relates to a specific grafted biotin molecule, to the use thereof and to a kit for detecting uranium in a solution. |
