PURPOSE: An air separator for a fuel cell is provided to prevent the decrease of cooling capacity of a fuel cell stack by removing air from distilled water in a thermal and water management system and to rapidly obtain an initial humidification. CONSTITUTION: An air separator for a fuel cell is formed with the following: the air separator is installed in between a water pump and a radiator at a coolant discharge line(32) of a fuel cell stack for reducing the flow of cooling water and inducing a centrifugal force to remove air from the cooling water; a humidifier(30) connected with the air separator to be supplied with the cooling water from the air separator. The air separator includes a body unit(12) comprising an inlet(14) formed on the upper side of an outlet(16) formed on the lower side, a channel guide(24) installed inside the body unit and an air removal unit. |
