The present invention relates to an automatic filter changing apparatus of a robot cleaner. The automatic filter changing apparatus for a robot cleaner is able to greatly extend the usable period of a filter and reduce inconvenience of a user by frequent filter replacements through a technical composition which includes: a filter support body which is fixated and installed in the main body of the robot cleaner; a roll shaped filter which is installed in the filter support body and filters foreign substances included in outside air which moves to a suction motor through a filter body; a winding means which is able to reel out the filter body of the roll shaped filter at a predetermined length by being installed in the filter support body; and a dust box which is installed to be attached to and detached from the rear part of the filter support body of the main body of the robot cleaner.
