<p>The present invention relates to a serum-free solution for cryopreservation of hepatocyte and a method for cryopreservation of hepatocyte using the same. The solution includes a histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutaric acid (HTK) solution, dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), and human serum albumin, has extremely high survival rate and adhesion rate without addition of fetal bovine serum (FBS), and has high albumin synthesis rate. Therefore, the solution does not need a refining process needed when a serum is included, to be used immediately after thaw, and can remove risk of unnecessary pathogen infection during freezing and thawing.</p> |
