The invention relates to a method for determining data representative of a movement of a communication terminal, called a particle, within a predetermined geographical area, called an area to be mapped. According to the invention, such a method comprises: - a phase for obtaining data representative of transmission powers of at least one data transmission signal within said area to be mapped, delivering a set of captured data; - a phase for filtering the data from said set of captured data on the basis of at least one predetermined filtering parameter, delivering a set of filtered data; - a phase for using said set of filtered data to compute data representative of at least one movement made by said particle within said area to be mapped. |
