<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge which prevent the wobbling of a leader block arranged in a cartridge and a take up reel and to provide a recording and/or reproducing device. SOLUTION: The tape cartridge is provided with a leader block 14 equipped at one end of a magnetic tape 9, a tape reel 10 which winds the magnetic tape 9, and a cartridge main body 2 which has an opening part 15 facing part of leader block 14 outside, and houses the tape reel 10 rotatably. The leader block 14 is provided with a location notch 53 which guides the insertion of the leader block 14 into the cartridge main body 2, a location notch 54 which guides the insertion into a take up reel 64 for taking up the magnetic tape 9, a recessed part for fitting 55 to position the leader block 14 in the cartridge main body 2, and a recessed part for fitting 56 to position the leader block 14 in the take up reel 64. The opening part 15 has a positioning protrusion 15a which fits in the location notch 53 to guide the insertion of the leader block 14 into the cartridge main body 2, and an engaging protrusion 16a which engages with the recessed part for fitting 55 to position the leader block 14 in the cartridge main body 2.</p> |
