<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator for an electric dust collector, which can surely prevent penetration of gas, dust and so on into a device housing. SOLUTION: In the insulator for an electric dust collector in which a hollow part 17 including an opening at the lower end of the insulator 15 is formed and a vent 18 is formed in a ceiling wall 15a of the hollow part, and high pressure air is introduced from the hollow part of the insulator into the device housing through the vent, thereby preventing penetration of gas, dust and so on in the device housing into the hollow part of the insulator, a flow regulating means 19 for regulating the air flow is arranged directly underneath the vent 18 of the hollow part 17.</p> |
