1. A personal mobility vehicle comprising:
a platform on which a user of the vehicle can stand, ground-engaging wheels on which the platform is supported, said ground-engaging wheels including a pair of independently driven wheels at the rear end of the platform, and a column extending upwards from a central front end of the platform, characterized in that the column carries: a body-stabilizing thigh support rest which is arranged to provide a support surface for a user to lean forward and rest against when standing on the platform, motor control means which allows the vehicle to be steered by controlling the operation of the driven wheels, a basket mounted on the to of the column with the thigh support rest at the rearwardly facing surface of the basket, and a pair of handles that can be grasped by the user when the user is leaning forward against the thigh support rest.
