A display panel, a driving method thereof and a display device are provided. The display panel comprises an array substrate (110) and a color filter substrate (120) oppositely arranged. The array substrate comprises a plurality of scanning lines (g1, g2, g3…gn) and a plurality of data lines (d1…dm) arranged with intervals between each other, and a plurality of pixel units (P11, P21, P31, Pn1…, P1m, P2m, P3m, Pnm) arranged in an array and driven by the scanning lines (g1, g2, g3…gn) and the data lines (d1…dm). Each pixel unit (P11, P21, P31, Pn1…, P1m, P2m, P3m, Pnm) is divided into at least two display areas. The color filter substrate (120) comprises at least two common electrodes (K1, K2, K3…Kn) arranged corresponding to the display areas respectively. The at least two common electrodes (K1, K2, K3…Kn) respectively and independently apply common voltage. The display panel can eliminate the phenomenon that the display frame brightness is not even and improve the display quality. |
