PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-aperture wide-angle photographic lens which is bright, whose f-number is small and which is suitable for making compact. SOLUTION: This photographic lens consists of a front group lens 10 formed to be a divergent system and a rear group lens 20 formed to be a convergent system, and a diaphragm 30 provided in space between the lenses 10 and 20, and is constituted so that the focal distance F1 of the lens 10, the focal distance F2 of the lens 20, the focal distance F of the entire lens system and the entire length L of the lens system satisfy 1.5<|F1 /F|<2.0, 0.9<|F2 /F|<1.1 and L/F<2.1.
