POLYAMIDE MONOFILAMENT AND ITS APPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide monofilament having a low compression strain rate, and further having improved flexing abrasion resistance and flexing fatigue resistance, and further to provide an industrial woven fabric exemplified by a woven fabric to be attached to a paper machine such as a paper machine press felt, using the monofilament and having good squeezing efficiency. SOLUTION: In this polyamide monofilament the compression strain rate is <5.6% and the number of flexing abrasion required for breaking is >=2.2×10<4> . The industrial woven fabric uses the monofilament at least as a part.
